Welcome to our sustainability and ESG consultancy, based in New York but operating on a global scale. As experts in sustainable business strategies, we are now extending our services to include the latest in ESG reporting and consultancy.

The evolving landscape of ESG reporting, particularly in the EU and the US, presents both challenges and opportunities for businesses. In the EU, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) came into effect on January 5, 2023, with detailed disclosure requirements developed by the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG). These standards, known as the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), require companies to report on a wide range of sustainability topics, including environmental impact, social matters, and governance issues. The first set of these standards, covering topics like resource use and circular economy, were adopted in July 2023, with more specific standards to follow. Large public interest entities (PIEs) with over 500 employees will need to start reporting for the 2024 financial year from January 1, 2024, while other large PIEs will follow from January 1, 2025.

In the United States, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is set to require ESG reporting starting in April 2024. This move aligns with global trends towards greater transparency and accountability in corporate sustainability practices.
